Owner manager:Osamu Kitai
Competitor (Jumping Competitions)
I love horses and in 1967 went to Iwate to buy some horses. That is how it all started.
Since then we have grown and are lucky to have so many nice members.
We want to carry this club into a successful future and realise all the possibilities we have.
Kazuteru Kitai
Competitor (Jumping Competitions)
When I was twenty I went to Germany to learn the foundations of equestrian jumping. Ever since I have known that failure can never be blamed on the horse. Horsemanship is special because both the horse and the rider are put to the test. No matter how good the rider, if the horse is not on form the results are not good. Success will come if both the rider and the horse are on good form and have built up enough trust between each other to be "one".
In 1998 the 53th National Sports Festival were held and I managed to be selected as the Kanagawa representative. I really felt the pressure to live up to the expectations I found all around me. I had trained hard the 5 years leading up to the competition, but the thing about riding is that both horse and rider have to be on top form on the big day. So I did my best to prepare my horse for the event. There were times when I thought it would never work out, but I did not give up and with effort somehow managed to make it through to the competition and actually won first prize.
Since that time I have learned the truth of the saying that it is not half as difficult to succeed than to stay at the top. Moreover, I feel deep appreciation for the bravery and confidence my competition horse "Michael" has imparted on me over time.
I would like to share these great experiences I have made with others by working with them as an instructor.

My aim is to provide both beginning and competition level members with encouragement and appropriate instruction. I also specialise in training horses.
Yuko Matsumoto(nee Kitai)
Competitor (Dressage Competitions)
My basic teaching philosophy is to give instruction on basics and practical application in a way that is suitable to the individual concerned. Also, I am able to support and advise those who take part in competitions, drawing from my own experiences made at such contests. (detail)

Instructor
Horse riding, be it English or Western style, involves both man and horse in a special relationship. I would like to help as many people as possible experience even a little bit of this and let them personally feel the joy it gives you. Moreover I like being involved in the training of good horses which are then able to be a part of this.
Michiyo Nagamatsu
Instructor
I was first enchanted by horses about ten years ago. And I am still fascinated by them. Having received so many good things from horses I want to become someone who is able to give them good things back.
